I'm curious about a possible swap. I have a 94 full size Blazer (2 door) as a donor vehicle and I have a 66 Chevy LWB Fleetside that I would love to get running and make into a 4x4.

Any thoughts? Old body on newer frame? Put newer running gear into old frame?

You haven't had much time to research it yet, but wanted to throw it out to this great amount of knowledge in the forum.

Thank you in advance

It has been done both ways, to put your old body on newer frame, all new body perches to be made, newer bodies tend to sit down further over frame. But building a 4x4 would lend it self to a body lift...? measure wheelbase and track width carefully between the two trucks carefully..
