Hi from Milton FL, near Pensacola, I have a 68 shortfleet yard ornament, 6cyl 3 on the tree, Ole Rusty. I'm chevy5557 on trifive, because 55chevy was taken, although I think whoever has the name never uses it. i have been on 67-72chevytrucks.com for a long time, not real active since I parked my 68 and been tinkering with my 56 BA, probably won't be too active here either.

We have a 78 trans am named rusty

We have had it for years and never did anything with it until recently. The rust repair goes pretty fast once you get started just take it one spot at a time. I dont know what we call it if we ever get it done. anim_25

Welcome 55, like the looks of your truck, just give it a bath with a green pad and CLR, put some wheels on it , tune and drive it..the CLR will just remove the surface rust...
