To All Members of, and

This is Otis I started in 2005, I wanted a place on the internet where people would treat other nicely and have fun restoring the best cars and trucks ever made.

I wanted it to be a place where members could talk freely as long as they talked nicely to each other, a place that would be respected by everyone in the automotive industry.

When you mention , or people know it is a first class operation, that you can meet new friends and buy parts from honest industry leaders that make parts for our cars and trucks.

When I started it was just me late one night just after Christmas late December 2005, I knew that since I was restoring a Trifive Chevy and I needed help I wanted advice and knew that probably others were like me that needed help restoring their dream car.

I got a lot of help over the years from great members and moderators and admins, Now it wasn't easy when we first started I had a lot of bad advice, but thank god the good advice I got outweighed the bad, so without compromising my principles Trifive Not only survived it prospered and continues to grow daily.

Now for the announcement.

You guys probably notice I rarely post anymore since I am getting older and I want and to continue just like it is forever.

These sites are my legacy and if something happened to me, none of my family have an interest in the sites and I don't know who would keep them going financially and so own, We have great admins that take care of the forum day to day operations but the behind the scenes server administration and the technical knowledge, the programming knowledge, and the cost of operations are all things that have to be considered and are done by me alone..

So with that in mind I have decided to sell my ownership to a company ( ) that owns over 200 forums and knows how to keep them going and keep members happy so that and will continue to grow and go on forever.

We will be partnered with – they will take over the hosting, technical support and financial stuff related to the site.

No I am not going anywhere, I will stay on to help as an admin, the moderators and admins will all still be the same, The only difference is that we will ad a couple more admins to help keep everything running smoothly.

How will this affect the members of all three sites, answer it will not affect anyone. You might see some small changes but basically everything will be the same.

You will still see me and all the other admins and moderators logged in daily and continue to do the same thing.

If I had not made this announcement you guys probably would not even notice the small changes, so be happy and continue to help each other and help this forum continue to grow and prosper.

I ask each one of you if you, if you liked the way I have run things over the years please support my decision and lets keep this a happy fun place to be.

I ask you to help me welcome the new owners and to treat them with the respect and kindness you have shown me over the years.

P.S. I will still be here, so don't think I am going anywhere, it just takes stress off me and allows me to enjoy the forums I created and to see my dream continue.

To the sponsors we have on all three sites, nothing changes the ads stay the same and the agreement you have with me will continue under the new ownership.

Respectfully Submitted

Hello everyone,

My name is Philip, I am a community manager for, I work with a small team that will continue to manage the webmaster duties for

We are here to help primarily with the technical end of things and help make the jobs of the current Mods/Admins easier. I posted a real basic run down to answer common questions below. If you have more questions or concerns please feel free to post them in response.

What are our intentions?

We bring reliability, support and the infrastructure needed to ensure that the community will continue to be around for years to come. It’s our goal to work with the mod/admin team to help provide the resources and required work to give this community a broader reach, to attract new members, and to better the overall knowledge shared in the community.

Will leadership change?

Continuity is the focus here, YOU as the membership work very hard to keep building this community while your mod/admin team keep the walls and the roof up in this place; we are primarily here to make sure the lights stay on. Every community is unique and should always be respected in that regard. You all have established your own unique rules and regulations and a strong reputation that is carried by all of this. For us it’s paramount to maintain this level of integrity and enthusiasm.

What am I here for?

Our primary role is to be the technical contact; you all contributed to building the strong foundation the site was built on. Moving forward we will all work together to keep the momentum and the community growing. We will be on the forum checking in regularly to make sure regular maintenance is taken care of and keeping things running smoothly from behind the scenes. We will also be setting up a help desk on the site for when you have questions or issues with the site or your account and need assistance.

Looking forward to working with you all.
