my bagged '86 c10 6.0l

here's some pics of my truck......it started as an '86 chev c10 wrangler, bagged and bodydropped, '04 lq4 6.0l with 4l80e...I just finished up a '65 c10 dash swap. I would start from the begining but it would take forever to post.....

Just found,1986 c10, 305,with 37000 original miles

I have known this family and the original owner since 1990 when this truck was just 4 years old. The owner passed away in July 2014 and his wife decided that she would be able to sell this truck that her husband had bought new in 1986. Little did she know, or I know, that I would be the first to drive past the old farm house in November 2014 and be the first to see this great find in her front yard for sale. The only rust on this truck is the inner fender wells. This truck has been garage kept since new. I will begin to restore it with little effort to get it back to new condition. Some touch ups here and there and a new paint job. I will be replacing the cab corners, just in case, as they are showing a little sign of rust. I am excited to finally have an old vehicle and especially one I know the history on.

.. my truck...... '86 .. C10.. I just finished up a '65 c10 dash swap.
Hat's off to you on the '65 dash. I find it interesting.. I took the stock '65 dash out of my '65 C10.. thought it was boring.

You take the "busy" dash out of your '86 C10 and put in a '65 dash, wow, it looks awesome.

Your "Radio and Ash Tray" delete really make the dash look s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d and clean.

Nice vision, nice execution.

Not much to tell really.

Not much to tell on my 1980 C-10 Custom Deluxe. I havent found my build sheet yet so I havent been able to run down all the options it came with.

So far all Ive done is add a CFR distributor, Edelbrock 1406 Carb and a Mr Gasket 1" Phenolic Spacer and an Optima Battery truck already had an Edelbrock 2101 intake on it but everything else is kinda stock, least for now. fahne19

Not hard but time consuming, probably have to remove radio, you did not say wether you had air in it....might make it a little tougher.
