Should I replace my 12 bolt for a 10 bolt rear end??

I have a 70 C10 i’m driving it as I pick away on small projects, winter is for a larger project.

This winter I'm going to tackle the rear end/suspension. I have a 12 bolt rear end with leaf springs, I want to add a posi unit (maybe torsen??) also want to get rid of leaf springs. I found a 10 bolt for $200 that is from a ’65 C10 but from looking at the cover on rear end I think it is 8.2”ring gear. Would I be better off keeping my 12 bolt and convert the suspension or buy the other rear end and it would be easier to convert suspension ( I assume anyway)

Thank you for any suggestions on the rear end as well as differential options too.
