Yes I plan on restoring the 63, it was my father in laws truck and after he passed away it was handed down to me
Already changed the rear axles over to 5 lug and have a disc brake kit for the front.
Going to keep the bench seat and hope to use a 350 with a turbo 200 transmission
I got 2 grandsons that are helping and we haven't decided on paint color yet, it was originally black with white top.
Going with a wood bed p/s and a/c
Randy when you say turbo 200 transmission, I`m assuming you`re referring to the 200r4 ( overdrive )which is great, but they do offer a turbo 200, run away from it, its sort of like the stepchild that GM made, weak, and few parts for it…it has a band adjustment bolt just above the cooler line ports and if you`re going to use the 200r4, you`re going to want to use 3.73 or 4.10 rear gears, this will put you in the sweet spot for the overdrive…! When you decide to update the power steering we`ll give you the tips….anim_25
