Hello C-10 lovers!!
Need some advice on a radiator that I'm putting in my 1966 C-10 with a Big block 454 that is predicated to produce about 500HP.
I'm looking at a Rad from Northernradiator (P/N 205231) this is a aluminum 2 Row with oversized 1in tubes
that is rated to cool up 390HP and a Flex-A-Lite electric fan (P/N SKU 105390) that does 3000 CFM.
The people at northernrad are telling me that this will work to cool my 454 BBC because I'm upgrading my electric fan from 2700CFM to 3000 CFM. Is this true??
The reason I'm going with this configuration is I only have about 5 1/4in of room and this is the only radiator-fan combo that I can find to fit with out using a pusher fan. What are all of your thoughts. THANKS!!

I would look into a high flow water pump, like the weiand. And a couple bottles of VP Cool Down.

I'd also talk to Holly tech support. Those guys are great at answering tough questions like this

Thanks Dave for the tip. I'll contact holly tech and see if they have any advice. I'm just not sure if the kids on the phone at the rad shop know what they are talking about or are just trying to sell radiators.

They were pretty helpful..I was looking at eventually swapping to a new setup and they supplied me with links and options.
