Thank's i finished the truck in May 2006, it has won numerous awards. From best in show to best truck, best paint. But the most fun i ever had with the truck was @ the World of Wheels indoor show when the truck won 1st place in its class. Ok since i have since sold the truck i will let the cat out of the bag. The paint is 1997 PPG GM color called black saphire. It does have small metallic and it is a base clear. Its looks black in low light and a beautiful deep saphire blue in direct light. I can't begin to tell you how many hrs of blocking and rubbing went into this truck. The truck went to Australia when i sold it, dont even know why i sold it.Yaaaaa ! ! Not your average C10 driverWould love to see that color up close. Is that like a Cobalt or just a dark blue done to perfection

Mike its funny you said that, because my father had a 65 impala super sport when i was a kid and that was the color i was after when i built this truck. We alway's called it midnight blue on dad's 65 impala. GM called it something different, cant remember the name just now.Very nice. I too love that color. Sort of reminds me of 'Midnight Blue' on 66 Chevy cars.
