Hi everyone,
My first question post. On the 66 C10 I bought recently it needs lots of things replaced. The previous owner said the brake fluid reservoir was replaced but when I was replacing the front drums the brake fluid leaking from the wheel cylinder, which is being replaced, was GRAY. any ideas? should I just flush the lines? Someone told me I need to REPLACE ALL the hard lines. What do you think?
Thank you-

If you think he`s replaced the master I would just flush the lines, but replace the soft lines now, even tho they might look good they deteriorate on the inside use DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, but not 5, 5 is not compatible with the other two fluids... ! The only time I would replace lines is if they or should I say the fittings are butchered up or heavily rusted on the outside.
