My rally rims do not sit flush on the axle lip. The old rims did. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix this?
thank you in advance for your assistance. Billy

I'm a newby but have looked into this a little, I believe older rims are lug centric and newer are hub centric. I think you need hub centric rings, correct me if I'm wrong please.

His new rims have the bevel for acorn nuts. Even brand new wheels these days are centered with the nuts. More I thought about this the more I think it is a 4wd rim. I remember my older Bronco in college. There were hub size differences in rims for 2wd and 4wd. A 4wd rim would fit on a 2wd, but the 2wd rim would not fit on the 4wd.
