I recently acquired a 383 stroker to put into my 64 C10 (currently has inline 6 w/tb350). I want to replace the transmission with a 4 speed auto. I've got several recommendations but just looking for more help. Leaning towards a 200r4 or 4L60. I know the 200r4 is a direct bolt in but they are hard to find in my area. Also was told a 700r4 will work but the person was not sure of the fit because of the low trans hump. Any help would be appreciated. I'm by no means an expert so patience is appreciated. My 64 has a 383 and a th350. My motor sits back towards the firewall so I have an MSD ready to run distributor w/ separate coil.
