I just couldnt leave this forum empty so I will start with a post about my truck.
I have a 1991 chevy 1500 extra cab that I bought new in 1991 and have put 272K miles on it since. And in true hot rod fashion I havent left much alone over the years! I put a new engine in it about a year ago and is now a 383 cubic inch engine with Dart heads, a roller cam and a custom tuned chip for the TBI. I put a Bowtie Overdrives 700r4 behind it and it has a ton more power and torque than it did in stock form. I have lowered it 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back and I wish I had a picture to put up right now but I have none on this computer. It doesnt look as good as it used to though as it has the dreaded clear coat peel that was common on these trucks back then. A nice paintjob is hopefully in the near future.
