I will post a video of the noise later today ,, I don’t think it’s the throw out bearing because the noise doesn’t go away when I apply more pressure to the pedal,, I think it may just need some lubricant but I don’t know how/where to apply it
That depends on your mechanical ability. Its not that hard of a job if you have a concrete surface to work on, a helper, a floor jack and jack stands.
Its been many years but here it goes. Disconnect the clutch linkage assembly, the driveshaft, drop the cross member, unbolt the transmission from the bell housing and slide it out with the help of your helper and floor jack. Remove the bell housing & remove the throw-out bearing from the clutch fork. Installation is in reverse. While your in there would be a good time to inspect the clutch and pilot bearing (busing) in the end of the crank.
have a listen to the sound it makes and let me know what you think ,, I posted a linkI will post a video of the noise later today ,, I don’t think it’s the throw out bearing because the noise doesn’t go away when I apply more pressure to the pedal,, I think it may just need some lubricant but I don’t know how/where to apply it
