Howdy folks...

this is a modern interpretation of a wooden covered bridge... it is made of wood, including the deck/road bed... was built in 1997.

Haralson Mill Covered Bridge in Rockdale, County Georgia


Check it out if you like... I was by there last week and added some more photos.

They must have used the new guy to build that picnic table though.

They are building a new one here as some AH burnt down the old one last year.
not nice!

At least they are building it back.

Apparently, that is a popular thing to do with wooden bridges... happened to a lot of them back when they were new... from my recent reading.

sure isn't an every day thing to see ( well around here it isn't )

some really nice work

I know that they lost some really old one(s) up north during the sandy storm that they had .. sure a shame tho =0/
