I have a ‘71 short box “Plain Jane”. Can someone share if the front turn signal lenses originally were amber or clear with amber bulbs?? Thanks in advance.

if 72 is same, my fronts are amber and rears red lens

The oem should be amber lenses.

Thanks. The ‘71 I just recently purchased has clear lens in front and I felt that was wrong. The start of the money flow its direction. Ha.

I know this is a little off base but my last Harley was a Road King that had clear turn signal lens on frt and rear with amber and red bulbs.
Its all in what you like or want your Car, Truck. Bike to look like. Yes frt's were Amber.
