My 1972 C10 does not have the original engine. The one that is in there is stamped with F0323YW. I have not been able to ID this. The casting # is 3858174. Thanks for any help.

suffix code YW denotes it as `68, 220 hp, 327 C.I. You need to look at the head casting number as well

Matt the suffix code last two digits thru me off...The (YW) are you sure its YW and not YV or YU. So I`ve changed the engine profile...

The numbers on the block and crank confirm it is a 64-67 327. The heads are later model so they are no help. I was just curious as to what it came in originally, but that is not real important. Thanks.
