Will an electric fuel pump mounted in front of a dual tank selector valve, push fuel through a mechanical mounted Holley fuel pump, on a 350 chev motor?...A friend said he did this on his Mopar, without having to remove his Carter mechanical pump....problem I have is that if the truck sits for a few days. .it takes a while to get fuel back up to the carb, and I have some expensive fuel lines hooked up, that I would rather not have to replace if possible.

I`m assuming that it takes some cranking to get it started, you need to verify that the fuel is being siphoned back to the tank or is it flooding itself after the truck is shut off, fuel pushing past the needle and seat in the float, the electric should have no issue pumping it thru the mechanical pump unless it starts leaking thru the diaphragm.
