What’s up everyone- brand new proud owner of a 65 c10 step side long bed. It’s in ok shape. I think. My experience in working on vehicles is slim. I didn’t learn from my dad or school. So YouTuBe university it is. I have basic skills in welding and mostly wood manufacturing. So big question is what is you 1 piece of advise for someone just getting into restoring their first c10?

Welcome from Washington state. My advice is..find people around you that have the same interests. There's lots of hot rodders, drag racers and custom car builders in Oregon and Washington. Find your local cruise ins and meet people.

Welcome from GA. I agree with Dave S. Do a local search for a hot rod/truck/muscle care clubs or events in your area. I bet there are several in your immediate or nearby area. Good luck and keep progress posted.
