My son and I are currentyl rebuilding an 89 K5 blazer to resell as a stepping stone to him aquiring a 69 fastback (his dream car)

Although he is only 14 right now we wanted to get a head start before he gets old enough for a drivers license.

I took it in trade as partial labor for a job I had done last summer. It was a rust free Arizona K5 theft recovery vehicle. Most all the parts were included but not nesecarily correct for the K5. We completely disassemble it and began the frame off rotisorie build. The frame came out beautiful

The we did the body starting with the underside. Stripped and prepped it for epoxy sealer and spray on beliner.

The onto the rest of the body (good thing dad has some spare parts in the shed)

Motor is from a 96 Camaro SS LT1, mated to an 89 700r4 k housing and NP208 transfercase. Running half ton 3:73 gears and setting on 15x10 rallies with 33x12.0 tires.

That's as far as we've gotten so far. The rest will have to wait till spring as I have several projects in the shop for the winter. A 47 Chevy sedan, 70 K15 and a custom fabricated Chopper.
