Easier

All depends on your experience and budget.

Being a carb. guy, on a budget, there ain't much "easy" about fuel injection.
One they will come with a EFI intake, harness, and PCM. Rework for harness is $250 bucks and reflash PCM is $150. Add a fuel pump and lines $200 if that. So for $600 you have EFI. Vs buying a carb intake for $575. Then you need a carb for $3-400, as well as a fuel pump $50, and add a ignition controller $400. So a budget carb swap looks pretty expensive to me. One can keep the EFI for the price of the carb intake alone!!!

Two the harnesses are plug and play simply add four or five external to the motor hooks and it will run. Every plug for the harness comes labeled. If you can crimp 4 wires you can install the harness not much easier than that!
