I would definitely pay a mechanic to put it on a lift and do a full inspection. If owner doesn't want to or tries to recommend his guy/buddy..there's probably a reason. Get VIN and see what originally was in the truck..motor/trans, gears etc. I see a bunch of wrong size hose clamps being used. Over full? Are you going by the dipsticks? If they reused ones from a different motor, they may be off? If it's really overfill, that may be an issue and cause problems.

Look closely at problem area..cab corners, lower fenders, rocker panels, floors..that door bottom looks funky..can see the ding..but fitment? Are they replacement body panels? Did they cut fenderwells for tires?

Are those locking hubs? Not sure about this year, but think that's what supposed to be there. Check numbers on that motor block. Lots of questions..

Definitely check VIN, Title and frame numbers

Ok you're wrong..my 2015 silverado..you can check fluids cold. 78..No! You have to warm it up till you can feel heat in the valve covers..then oil is circulated. Check oil levels. Tranny..you back up drop in low, goto next gear, etc ..cycle through.. engine running check tranny level (in park).

Also look at the power steering level(engine off) has hot/cold mark.

Tried to respond yesterday, but internet crashed and froze up on me.

As far as the hose clamps..you can see they used ones that are way too big judging by the amount hanging out. A good mechanic would use the proper size clamps needed per hose size.
