Hello everyone,
getting ready to prep and install new bed boards and rails!
Issue I have is MY BED side angled strips have 10 bolt holes on each side,
not 7 as I've seen in other pictures and the same in the board SS strips?
They are factory squared holes both sides.
I don't have a clue why?
Can anyone explain the extra holes.
thanks so much,

Do you have a picture? Not sure what you mean by angled strips? Where did you get the kit from?

Hello, thanks for reply, been gone on vaca. The angle strips are factory installed on both sides of bed to hold boards.
I didn't purchase a kit just boards. See attached pic of my bed side angle strips.
I was in Cali for 10 days, got to see 3 trucks, No luck, one had extra holes, no bed bolts?
thanks

Not sure..maybe punched out for a couple different year trucks?

Maybe this..."the fleetside had 2 extra hole for in bed tire carrier, bracket".

See the last couple pictures and explanation here...

OMG, that's it... Thank you for the excellent follow-up. I'll do the same and place bolts in the holes.
Bolts would look much better than empty holes as I did see in south California last week.
take care
