locksmith help
Back in the day my dad used to drive a C10.. He used to absolutely love it.. he hasn’t driven it, for a long time now.. I thought of fixing it up for his 65th.. I’m done with pretty much everything.. except the door. The key doesn’t turn on the passenger side door.. should I call a locksmith?

That would be the easiest way to go OR you could pull the lock and bring that and a key to him(cheaper)
To C10 trucks post some pictures of the truck when you get time

Just guessing that maybe the key and lock on the left side had been replaced at some point, maybe he has it... and welcome to the forum...

It's very easy to pull the handle off to take to the locksmith.
Remove the door panel, roll down the window and unscrew the 2 large phillips screws at the back of the handle. This will save you much since the locksmith will probably have to research and learn this himself, taking time and costing you more. It's a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 in difficulty.
Looking at the date of the previous post, ya may have already got 'er done.

Pull the door panel and unscrew 2 screws from the inside and the handle will fall off. Spray them with penetrating oil first if they look dry and corroded.
